The second installment of The Sky Pirate serial is Ray Gun Revival, Issue 04.  You can read the story itself here:

Here’s a snip:

Flynn mulled this over, blinked, and cocked his head. “So how do we know this assassin, this Qantiin, was here for Sandle at all? What if he was actually here to target someone else?” He turned and looked at Tuy. “If Sandle wasn’t the ultimate target, who was? Oh, wait! If there was an ultimate target, will the Qantiin send another assassin?” Tuy nodded his head and smiled grimly. “That’s the right question.”

He stood. “Let’s take a walk. It’s time I told you what brought me to Patience Bay.”

Flynn’s eyes grew wide with alarm. “What? What brought you here?” he asked.

Tuy turned and looked Flynn in the eye for the first time that day. “You.”

Well, huh

It seems that something has changed at my host, something that now requires my links to be more specifically named.

What I’m trying to say is that I used to be able to give out links that were all lower-case and they would open up files that weren’t lower-case.  (Don’t ask why I’d even try doing that.  It used to work, but now that’s been ‘fixed’.)  Thanks to Matt (Electragician) K. for pointing out the problem.  I have changed all the 119 files to be all lower-case, so now all links should be operational again.  If you find one that doesn’t work, please let me know and I’ll fix it.

I quickly updated all 119 files using Better File Rename, the best Windows batch renamer that I’ve come across: http://www.publicspace.net/
